During our search for a builder of our new home, we went through many, many model homes and condos.  Every one of them that we loved was a Monogram home.  So we knew Monogram was the builder for us.  The personal and timeless effects as far as crown molding, granite counter tops to geothermal heat and air to the architecture was thought out to benefit the quality and beauty of our home.

 

Along the course of construction we modified a few things as we saw the house evolving into our home.  Living on the bay we wanted the house built strong to withstand coastal wind and storms.  Upon asking the staff at Monogram they suggested spray insulation and reinforcements to withstand 150 mile per hour winds.  We also wanted certain windows with UV protection to help with the heat and air conditioning costs.  Interiorly we loved the bead board and woodworking that Monogram sought out for us.  And then there are those gorgeous hard wood floors!  We were so fortunate to have selected Monogram as our builder because we had the most professional and talented people build our house with love and pride.

 

We have lived in our home for 7 years now and have loved it as much as we did the day we moved in.  We would not have changed a thing.  Monogram guided us every step of the way to build our dream home and have the most professional employees.  We are proud to say that we chose Monogram to design and build our home.

We purchased our Monogram home at Lighthouse Sound in September of 2004.  The quality of construction and floor plan design is exquisite.  The extra touches that Monogram puts into their designs truly sets them apart and a cut above their peers in the industry.  

The Monogram staff is wonderful to work with.   They quickly responded to all of our inquires and needs following our purchase.  Seven years after the sale we had a question and they were  as accommodating then as they were during our initial  purchase.

My wife and I have had several homes built in the past, our Monogram home ranks as the best in quality of construction, floor plan design with a staff of people that you can count on every step of the way.

Just wanted to write a letter regarding our experience with Monogram and how pleased we are with the outcome of our addition.  Colin was so helpful designing and putting together a creative plan for our home.  He then introduced us to Terry Stevens to oversee the construction, and what a wonderful person he was to deal with.  He was available every step of the way always keeping us informed.  We are so elated with the outcome and would highly recommend your company.

Having built a custom home before, I entered into this home project determined to carefully watch over every little detail. While I was convinced that Monogram would build a fine home, I must admit that I was not prepared for the care, concern and attention to detail that you and your staff put into the project.

The suggestions that you and Colin made were thoughtful and welcomed. The communication between Colin and myself was not only helpful, in avoiding  future problems, but comforting because it showed your commitment  to building a first rate home that would fully reflect the dream that I intended to build.

My husband and I had the pleasure of purchasing a lot in Willow Brook, a small development started by Monogram Customs Homes. Shortly thereafter Monogram Custom Homes started our house that took roughly five to six months to complete. The building of the house went very smoothly and it was an easy worry free process. Once each stage was completed, my husband checked the work. I can honestly say we always found everything to be in order. Once our house was completed we did a final walk through and found everything to our liking. The workmanship and quality of the house was impeccable. The folks at monogram were extremely helpful , reliable and aimed to please. I would highly recommend Monogram to anyone that is in the market to build. I recently built my home using Monogram Custom Homes. From the date we broke ground until settlement, Monogram was always responsive with my needs and desires. Their team was not only friendly, but provided me with a well-crafted home. I chose Monogram due to their reputation for excellence within our community and am nothing, but satisfied with my experience.

Sue and I love our Monogram home. We purchased it in 2001 and moved into it in 2002 to Lighthouse Sound, lot 39 with the address of 12842 Fox Ridge Court. As you and Kathy might remember, we added a workshop as part of our contract and also added hardwood floors throughout. We also added a great pool a few years later built by Jul Airey of Poolside Construction and have done extensive landscaping using local trades. We added a year round hot tub on one of the rear decks also.

I am writing as a result of the most recent storm, the notorious Irene. She blasted our home for hours with east and then northeast and then northern winds. Gusts of 70+ knots were recorded on my home anemometer. I am very pleased to say nary a drop of outside water entered our home, even given this severe test of flashing and structure and windows. This is very well done construction from our perspective and one of the few homes that did not suffer some type of leak. We continue to be strong advocates of Monogram Custom Homes and always have been. We just thought it is good to pass along the good work a company does and our hat is off to Colin and his team.
